Rue Boutebrie is an oasis of calm nestling at the foot of the elegant 13th century Eglise St Severin, 200 metres from the Seine, and just behind a labyrinth of busy restaurants offering a bewildering variety of culinary delights. The apartment is served by multiple bus routes which connect to all parts of Paris and it is less than 100 metres from Metro Cluny La Sorbonne from which access to RER station St Michel-Notre Dame can be gained to take the visitor directly to Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports via RER line B.
The Neighbourhood: The apartment is in the Latin Quarter home of La Sorbonne and the Pantheon. In the middle of the Seine just 200 metres away is "Ile De La Cite" on which Notre Dame Cathedral and the Palais de Justice are situated. At one end of the Ile, Pont Neuf spans the river Seine to take the visitor to the oldest department store in Paris "La Samaritaine". A short stroll from there to the west are the Louvre museum, the Palais-Royale and the Jardin des Tuileries and the east the famous Marais district with its imposing Hotel de Ville, controversial Pompidou Centre and stunning Place des Vosges. On the Left Bank just a bus stop or two from the apartment can be found the chic boutiques, antique dealers and galleries of St Germain des Pres and St Sulpice. This apartment is Australian owned and is to a high standard.
